The houseplant Beaucarnea, also known as Elephant's Foot is a very easy houseplant. This houseplant has few requirements. The plant owes its name Elephant's Foot to its characteristic stem, and each stem is therefore unique. A Beaucarnea Recurvata, also called Nolina Recurvata, is native to Central America, especially Mexico. The plant stores water in its stem and can therefore do without water for a long time. Beaucarnea Recurvata is from the Asparagaceae family.
