Ficus is a very versatile houseplant, which has many different faces. Most people know Ficus for its small, green leaves, but there are thus many other varieties, such as the Elastica shown in the picture above. Ficus has been in our living rooms for years and has been a very popular houseplant for many years. Ficus is generally easy to maintain and also has an air-purifying effect. Ficus originates from Africa, but Ficus is also found in Australia, Asia and South America. Ficus belongs to the Moraceae family or Mulberry family.
